We Are Not Numbers
Special coverage from Gaza

15 June, 2018
We Are Not Numbers is a collective of Palestinian journalists in Gaza who have joined forces in a special partnership with The New Arab to provide a publishing platform to share and celebrate the stories of the people trapped under siege in the coastal enclave.

It's a project which looks beyond the statistics to the everyday extraordinary experiences of the two million people who call Gaza home.

With experienced authors and editors mentoring young reporters, We Are Not Numbers provides a megaphone to those whose voices are often drowned out or deliberately silenced. These are stories of personal struggles and triumphs, tears and laughter, and The New Arab is very proud to be a partner in sharing them with you.
