On Sunday, senior Donald Trump aide Kellyanne Conway, defending blatant lies by Sean Spicer, a White House spokesperson, over the size of crowds attending the controversial president's inauguration on Jan. 20, coined a new euphemism for fibbing: "Alternative facts".

She was being interviewed on NBC. The host quickly called her out on the deflection, insisting the term alternative facts was just a post-truth coinage that meant "falsehood".

With Donald Trump's official website already using Orwellian language with phrases such as "peace through strengh", we try to predict five possible euphemisms-cum-oxymorons the Trump White House might come up with next, to soften the impact of the disasters it is about to precipitate.

1. Enforced Peace

When Donald Trump -- some say inevitably -- goes to war or bombs the next Arab/Muslim country, we predict Conway will use something along the lines of 'enforced peace' to describe carpet bombing or drone strikes.

After all, this is the same country that came up with 'collateral damage' to describe civilian casualties and 'enhanced interrogation' to describe torture.

2. Retrograde growth

No, tax cuts and trickle-down-Trumponomics did not cause a recession! It's just retrograde growth. It's all a lie by the media. FAKE NEWS, SAD.

3. Selective tolerance

Some say a Muslim registry, banning Muslim immigration and deporting Mexicans is racist. WRONG! The United States will always be tolerant. But it needs to be selective about its tolerance.

4. Checked freedom

The media is out to get Donald Trump. Journalists are among the worst kinds of people on Earth, said the president recently.

The media needs to reform so it can tell only the 'right[wing]' facts. "But that's not censorship. It's just checked freedom," Conway says.

5. Tapered equality

We believe in all kinds of equality, Conway says...gender, racial, ethnic. But lots of white folk and white males have been left behind by equality. We need misogynism and bigotry tapered equality, little bit of equality for women and people of color, but a little bit more equality for whites. Seen?
