The Anfield faithful have already created two chants in honour of Salah, with the latest addition - a reworking of Dodgy's 1996 tune 'Good Enough' - going viral online.
Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah has earned himself a special place in the hearts of Liverpool fans with a new chant that embraces his goal scoring record and celebrates his faith.

Salah joined Liverpool from Roma in a £36.9 million move and has taken the premiership by storm, netting 30 goals in all competitions.

Last Wednesday he became only the thirteenth Liverpool player in the club's 125-year history to score his 30th goal in a season, the first since Luis Suarez four years ago.

The Anfield faithful have already created two chants in honour of Salah, who fans have nicknamed the 'Egyptian King', with the latest addition - a reworking of Dodgy's 1996 tune 'Good Enough' - going viral online.

"Mo Sa-la-la-la-lah, Mo Sa-la-la-la-lah, if he's good enough for you, he's good enough for me, if he scores another few, then I'll be Muslim too," fans have been filmed singing in stadiums.

"He's sitting in the mosque, that's where I want to be," the chant continues.

With the song going viral online it wasn't long before Salah heard the chant, responding to a video on Twitter with three heart-eyed emojis.

The song has also been lauded on Twitter for celebrating Muslims in the public eye and countering Islamophobia.

In 2017, Salah was named the BBC's African Footballer of the Year.

His late match-winning penalty for Egypt against the Congo last October secured World Cup qualification for Egypt for the first time since 1990.
